WALES (Away 2010-11) v MONTENEGRO European Championship Qualifier 2010

At the start of the 2010-11 season, the FAW under their 6 year kit contract with JJB Sports, returned to Umbro as the kit suppliers. This is James Collin's match worn unwashed shirt from the away game played at The City Stadium, Podgorica, Montenegro on 3rd September 2010, which saw Wales lose 1-0 in a very disappointing performance. Subsequently it became the last game of John Toshack's six year reign as the Wales manager. The evening proved to be eventful for Collins who was a fault for the games only goal and left the field with a head injury caused by an opponents elbow, late in the second half.

The new design white away shirt, just like the new home red shirt, carried players names to the reverse of the shirt for the first time in the countries history. The red match detail print, in Welsh, appears under the Hearldic Crest, again as it has done previously on the Kappa and Champion manufactured shirts since 2006, and as it was a competitive qualifying fixture has the new flock Euro 2012 (Poland & Ukraine) Qualifiers sleeve badge to the right arm and the UEFA competitions RESPECT badge to the left sleeve. Another wonderful addition to the collection and a great first addition to the new Umbro away section, the third spell the Manchester based manufacturers have supplied kit for the Welsh Football Association.
