COLIN PASCOE

Home (1990-92 style) Umbro versus Brazil 1991

Colin Pascoe's match worn shirt from Wales famous 1-0 friendly win -and to date only win- over Brazil at the Arms Park National Stadium, Cardiff on 11th September 1991.

The shirt originated from the Brazilian kitman. When Wales moved back to Umbro as their kit suppliers in 1990 they agreed to supply each first team player with two shirts per match, one long and one short sleeve, with this game against Brazil the first time the players experienced this arrangement. Pascoe wore short sleeve on the night and we are aware from discussing this shirt with Colin that he still has the Brazilian player, with whom he exchanged shirts, within his own personal collection. Although we have Gary Speed's unworn short sleeve spare, it is great to have a match worn example from such a memorable victory within our collection.
